Owning an SS at some point before I die is up pretty far on that list. I just wish people would stop bitching about how it looks like a Malibu. Like, seriously, it doesn't. I think it looks fantastic and I need one in my life.

The Malibu commentary seems to miss the point. It looks good in person, and the fact it’s a little staid and plain looking only adds to its appeal.

If I wanted it to look fast, I’d buy the Corvette.

The fact that Joe Public can't tell it apart from a Malibu is one of its best features! As a single guy with a c6z and a new truck I just can justify adding one to my stable. But you can bet your ass that when I do get one it will be in rental car white and will be badge swapped to be a Malibu!

I test drove one of these almost immediately after it came out, minus the magnetic shocks. It was an absolute hoot to drive, and I really really hope I have pennies and dimes saved up soon to make one of these mine.

Most people can’t afford a 50k car, or more when it came to the CTS. Sell the SS with less luxury features, that can be optioned,at a more reasonable price and more people will bite.

Also you know GM could advertise the thing once and awhile. Went into a Chevy dealer and the sales guy looked at me funny when I asked if they had any on the lot and I told him no not the Camaro, the SS. Most people don’t even know it exists.
